Jesse Hahn Won't Pitch Until Saturday: 'Slight' Discomfort In Pitching Elbow

Jesse Hahn’s next start has been pushed back to Saturday against the Cleveland Indians, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The Oakland A’s pitcher has been dealing with discomfort in his right elbow. The right-hander’s discomfort is “slight,” according to the Chronicle, so his Friday start will be pushed back one day.

The A’s must not think the discomfort is all that serious because they could’ve sat him throughout the upcoming all-star break.

Hahn hasn’t pitched since last Wednesday. He pitched six innings of one-run ball against the Colorado Rockies for the win.

Hahn, 25, is 6-6 with a 3.35 ERA. He’s turned it up over his last eight starts, sporting a 2.42 ERA. Hahn is 4-1 with a 2.68 ERA in his last six starts.

Oakland is still below .500 at 39-47. The A’s haven’t been able to climb back into the race for the AL West crown. They are in last place and 10 games out of first place.
