ANALYSIS: Chacin sits at the midway point of the season with a 9-4 record, 3.50 ERA and 1.26 WHIP. He's been dominant in his last seven starts, going 6-1 while allowing more then two earned runs in just one of those starts, shaving a full point off of his ERA in the process. And four of those starts came in Colorado, including an eight-IP zero-run gem against San Francisco on June 28. Notably, though, Chacin's HR/FB is at an unsustainably low 0.24, so you should expect that to rise somewhat in the following months. Also, don't count on him for consistent strikeouts, but overall, Chacin is a serviceable end-of-the-rotation fantasy starter.
