BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 29% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Jon Jay has found himself hitting a little hotter since his move to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the beginning of June. Jay owns a nice .313 AVG. He has 43 runs and has now scored the 13th-most runs in the league, so expect his totals to keep rising. Paul Goldschmidt has been heating up, so Jay can benefit from his production and possibly the return of A.J. Pollock. Pollock may put a squeeze on Jay's playing time, but for now he'll get to play everyday.
Jay hasn't flashed much of his speed or power yet this year, which is holding his value back a little. He has a good .374 BABIP and a .342 wOBA on the year. He also has a decent .45 BB/K ratio and is slashing .379/.396/.775. That means his power numbers need to improve, but he's playing very well overall. Consider him a rest-of-season type pick up, but watch his playing time when Pollock returns.
