BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: Jonathan Broxton was not a name I even expected to mention this MLB season. But with the early injury to incumbent closer Chapman, and the floundering of Hoover, Broxton will take over the closer duties once he is activated from the DL tomorrow. Broxton throws hard and gets a lot of strikeouts, but has a knack for giving up homeruns also. He reminds me of Kyle Farnworth, reliably unreliable.
If you need a closer I would grab him off the waiver wire over such stragglers and closers like Hoover, Hawkins and Strop. Broxton is on a quality team and should get the save chances to get us some points, but he as well isn't a sure shot. If you haven't yet gotten the picture I am painting, there is value here, but proceed with caution.
