ANALYSIS: Jordan Hill emerged in 2013 for a Lakers team that needed him badly. Hill gained playing time last season to the tune of 26.8 minutes per game and an 81% games started percentage in improvement on his 2013 season of 20.8 minutes per game and a 44% games started percentage. This season for a better equipped Pacers team, Hill's time has gone down to 23.6 minutes per game and has started three out of eleven games. Despite the reduction in time, Hill has been averaging near a double-double with 8.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Per 36 minutes, these figures average out to 12.9 points and 12.7 rebounds per game. This is important to note in case of injury to any players in the Indiana front court that would allow Hill to to step into a greater role. His minutes have already improved lately with the injury to rookie Myles Turner. Hill is also averaging a solid 1.5 assists per game for a PF/C combo. Hill has earned great consideration for his double-double potential and his effective passing.
