McCown has been unbelievable in his starts this season, recording 1,203 yards and six passing touchdowns in only three games. He also has 35 yards and one score on the ground.
He’s averaging 47 pass attempts per game, and that should be no different this week, as the Browns will likely be playing from behind against the Broncos. While this is a tough matchup, Derek Carr showed quarterbacks can have at least some success against Denver last week. In daily leagues, McCown is one of the cheapest starting quarterbacks on the slate, even though he has scored between 20 and 36 fantasy points in each of his three full starts.
The volume of his pass attempts make him a safe play, but they also give him great upside, as well. He’s a good option in all leagues, even with this tough matchup.
