ANALYSIS: With Brandin Cooks (concussion) expected to miss some time, the Los Angeles Rams will turn to Josh Reynolds to be their third wide receiver.
The Rams have run almost 90 percent of their plays this year in three or four receiver sets, so Reynolds should be on the field for a good percentage of the team's snaps. In an increased role in Week 8 after Cooks exited, Reynolds played 88 percent of the Rams snaps and was targeted eight times, catching three of those for 73 yards and a score.
Cooper Kupp will draw most of the attention in this passing attack, but Reynolds is a solid guy on the outside who should see relatively light coverage compared to Kupp and Robert Woods.
Add in the fact that the Rams have Jared Goff at quarterback, who has both shown a propensity for spreading the ball around and also for throwing it a lot -- he's sixth in passing attempts despite playing just eight games so far and is eighth in passing yards. Reynolds jumps into an offense that's built for whoever is in it to succeed. Until Cooks is back, Reynolds is a solid deep league flex option.
