BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
OWNED IN: 28% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: Josh Smith, once a fantasy darling, is not really a sexy name anymore. But that doesn't mean he's totally useless. His field goal percentage is straight up terrible, but if you're strong in that category, or are punting it altogether, "J-Smoove" can help in other ways.
Now that he's getting a nice chunk of minutes again, averaging 24 in his first three games with Houston, Smith is contributing across the board. He's averaging four rebounds per game, and has accumulated 11 assists, four steals, and five blocks. He will hit the occasional three-pointer as well, but he shouldn't be relied on for this.
I think the return to Houston will be good for Smith and that he should be picked up in deep leagues. Getting consistent playing time could help him get back into a decent rhythm. If he can improve the shooting and scoring just a bit, he becomes a nice pickup due to his other contributions.
