Justin Turner will undergo arthroscopic surgery on Thursday to remove loose bodies from his left knee after what was the best stretch of his entire career.
The Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman was playing through a nagging knee injury throughout the ALDS. Turner had a .526 BA with 6 2B, 4 RBI, 10 hits over 19 at-bats in five games played. The 32-year-old was arguably the best player on the field and almost carried the Dodgers to the ALCS.

The knee actually was bothering Turner down the final stretch of the 2015 season. The surgery required is considered minor and he will be 100 percent by the time Spring Training begins. Turner is arbitration-eligible for a final time this winter and is due to make a lot more money after being the starting third baseman all season for the first time throughout his seven-year career. No longer a bench player, he put up a .294/.370/.491 batting line with 16 HR and 60 RBI over 126 games this season.
