Buffalo Bills running backs Karlos Williams and LeSean McCoy were not seen at practice on Thursday. McCoy was already considered highly doubtful for Week 5 due to a hamstring injury, but Williams (concussion) was thought to have an outside chance at playing against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Although there's still a chance Williams will be cleared for practice tomorrow or Saturday, his status for Sunday is questionable. If McCoy and Williams are both ruled out, the Bills will start Boobie Dixon. Dixon would likely see 20 or more carries, but he's still a risky fantasy option. At best he could be considered a RB3.
Without a running game, more weight will be put on Tyrod Taylor's shoulders to make more plays in the passing game. The Titans do have an underrated defense and could cause fits for Taylor if Rex Ryan's offense is unable to run the ball. If McCoy and Williams can't go, I'd expect to see more designed runs for Taylor. The team could also occasionally let receiver Percy Harvin run the ball out of the backfield.
