BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 46% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Keke Coutee isn’t likely a name that your leaguemates will be chomping at the bit to add this week. This is the perfect opportunity to add Coutee late in the week as someone you won’t need to burn much FAAB or your waiver priority on. After missing the past two games with hamstring injuries, there’s a good chance Coutee was either dropped or just has been sitting on the waiver wire. Now is the time you can snag him and stash him on your bench.
With a bye week coming up for the Texans in Week 10, Coutee will have extra time to take care of his hamstrings, seeing as how both of them have been an issue for him recently. Stashing Coutee for the next few weeks is a minimal risk move but could reap great reward down the playoff stretch.
Will Fuller is on injured reserve, which prompted the trade for Demaryius Thomas, but the Texans should still have plenty of targets to go around for Coutee as evidenced by his production with Fuller on the field a few weeks ago. The Texans play the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, and Philadelphia Eagles in their fantasy playoff schedule (Weeks 14, 15, and 16). They also play the Washington Redskins, Tennessee Titans, and Cleveland Browns in the upcoming weeks after their bye in a Week 10. Stash him while you can and take advantage of this cheap opportunity before the rest of your league does.
