BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 16% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: After injuring his hamstring, Kenny Stills has already missed two games and Keke Coutee has been the main beneficiary of it, slotting as the no. 3 wide receiver of the Texans attack. Back in Week 5 (the first game Stills missed), Coutee was targeted four times and hauled in three passes for 72 yards. This past weekend against Kansas City he was able to catch four balls on six targets for 39 yards. In the last two games combined, he's put up 18.1 PPR-format fantasy points.
Coutee keeps being a solid addition in deep leagues as a flex option with upside. He's playing under a great quarterback in Deshaun Watson and he could turn into a massive performer any day even on his low-volume role just because of that. The Texans treated Stills availability for their Week 6 match as a game-time decision, but all news pointed toward a great chance he'll miss the game. Indeed he finished missing it, and his presence on the field going forward is still in question.
Hopkins and Fuller are the go-to receivers in Houston, but if Stills ends not playing then Coutee instantly becomes the no. 3 option on the passing game. With Indianapolis' average defense against the pass on the schedule for Week 7 and two good matchups after that (Oakland and Jacksonville, although Stills should be back at that point), Coutee looks like a good addition if you have a free roster spot or lack players with upside to start at the flex position. Keep in mind, though, that the moment Kenny Stills comes back then Coutee will lose all of his fantasy value.
