BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Mixed and AL-only Leagues

ANALYSIS: Kendall Graveman enjoyed a solid sophomore season in 2016, posting a 4.11 ERA across 186 innings, but he has made some offseason adjustments. The 26-year-old has essentially eliminated all off-speed pitches from his repertoire — 99 percent of his pitches this year have been either a two-seamer or a cutter — and it has paid dividends thus far. Graveman has allowed three runs and struck out 12 batters over his first 13 innings of work, even taking a no-hit bid into the seventh inning on Saturday against the Rangers. His new approach is pretty unprecedented, so it’s hard to know whether or not his current success is sustainable. Regardless, Graveman is worth adding in most leagues while his stuff is working.
