BALLER MOVE: Target ~ 150 (Current ADP: 168, WR: 61)
ANALYSIS: Coach Jeff Fisher knew exactly what he was getting when he reunited with Kenny Britt in St. Louis this season. A former first-round pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2009, Britt showed great promise in his first two seasons, totaling 84 catches for 1,476 yards and 12 touchdowns. But off the field issues, and a torn ACL in 2011 have hindered his career since. Fisher stayed in touch with Britt during their shared year off (Britt was rehabbing his knee) and helped Britt put a lot of things behind him, helping Kenny straighten his life and career out.
Since joining the Rams, Britt has done nothing but impress in a multitude of ways. He's shown the talent that made him a first-round pick not too long ago, but he's also been a great mentor to the entire Rams receiving corps, emerging as a leader at the ripe old age of 25. The coaches have noticed, as Britt is now the #1 receiver on team depth charts, and have seen drastic improvements from young wide-outs such as Brian Quick who are quick to give thanks to Britt's help.
We all know what Britt has done over the past three years..... diddly-squat. But there are many reasons to believe that his career is now headed in a positive direction, and his elite talent-level makes him a viable deep sleeper in most leagues. I will be looking to target Britt as a late round flier for bench depth with tremendous upside.
