ANALYSIS: Kent Bazemore has been playing very well for an Atlanta Hawks team that is off to a hot start. We saw last season that the Hawks distribute the ball well and play a bit like an Eastern Conference version of the Spurs. What this means is that there are plenty of touches to go around. Not only that, but you can also tell Atlanta wants to prove their 2014-15 season was not a fluke so they are going to play with a chip on their shoulders.

So what does Bazemore bring to the table? He's scored double-digit points in three straight games and has been a solid source of rebounds and steals. He's averaging 5.2 boards a game as well as 2.2 assists, and hasn't logged fewer than 21 minutes in a game so far.  Bazemore also gets some added value from having eligibility at shooting guard and small forward. Also not only can he score, but he also can shoot the three. This kind of well rounded production can't be left sitting on the wire.
