BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Davis has cooled off over the past 5 games, only going 4-for-16 with 3 Runs, 0 HR and RBI. Prior to that, he had been on a pretty nice tear, going 11-for-20 with 3 HR, 6 RBI and a whopping 9 runs. Considering Davis is primarily batting in the 6th spot in the lineup, the run scoring is both impressive and entirely unsustainable. The silver lining is that he has an ultra impressive 5:3 BB:K ratio over the past 10 games, and considering he only had 3 BB to go with 47 punchouts before that, it's quite the change in approach. Davis was flailing at the plate, and now he is making solid contact and crushing the ball. His splits are ridiculous (.788 SLG vs LHP / .377 SLG vs. RHP), so he's mostly a depth guy who you should spot start. But overall, he's playing like the guy we projected on drafted day, so it's a good time to own Davis. Keep a close eye on the BB/K ratio going forward, as it seems to be a big indicator of success for him.
