BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: Kolten Wong is a fine looking second baseman that the Cardinals have been eager to bring up to the big club, but have resisted because he just wasn't ready last year. To be perfectly honest, I'm still not sure that he is ready to be an everyday fantasy second baseman, and in redraft leagues I would let someone else assume that risk. But he had a scorching hot spring, and has had a decent start to the regular season with a stat line of .257, 2 RBI, 2 Runs and 2 SB. Wong has demonstrated very good plate discipline during this brief season amassing a .350 OBP and has even stolen a couple of bases. Wong's upside appears to be similar to Daniel Murphy of the Mets, but the batting average is probably at least a year away. He is someone to consider off the waiver wire, but personally I would only take him in deep leagues as a MI or in NL-Only formats.
