ANALYSIS: Ladarius Green was a beast on Sunday. I know many critics and doubters will say that was only because Antonio Gates was out, but Green has proven he has value even when Gates does play. Rivers has been slinging the ball all over the place and the running game has been awful in San Diego. With all the attention that Keenan Allen should garner, I expect lots of  one-on-one coverages against linebackers or safeties for Green. Rivers should be able to exploit those matchups, particularly in the redzone. Not only that, but Gates might be out for more than just that game which vaults Green into essentially must start status in a shallow position. So obviously if you're hurting at tight end, or dealing with bye weeks, adding Ladarius Green can pay huge dividends. Week 8 presents a tough matchup with the Ravens, but even here Green has very solid upside as he is a matchup nightmare.
