BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ team leagues
OWNED IN: 22% of Fleaflicker leagues
EXPERT ANALYSIS: Leonys Martin has struggled of late since returning from a hamstring injury and as a result his numbers are down. While he hasn't played well of late, he now appears to be totally healthy. Despite the fact that he's missed time with an injury, Martin has still managed to hit 11 HR and steal nine bases in only 239 at-bats. Not surprisingly, Martin has rather large home and road splits as his batting average is 78 points higher on the road and his slugging percentage is 240 points higher on the road away from Safeco Field. If you can employ Martin as a bench bat that starts primarily against RHP and away from Seattle, you can have a very useful player on your hands. That's the optimal situation in smaller leagues. In deeper leagues, Martin is a solid fourth or fifth OF, as he's poised to go 20/20 if he stays healthy the rest of the season. Available in 78% of Fleaflicker leagues, Martin is a strong addition in 12+ team leagues and especially in leagues which require more than three outfielders.
