BALLER MOVE: Target in Final Draft Rounds of Very Deep leagues or off Waiver Wire (Current ADP: Undrafted)
ANALYSIS: With the retiring of one of the greatest tight ends to ever play the game in Tony Gonzales, many assume that the 100+ targets tossed his way by Matt Ryan will be soaked up by a healthy group of wide receivers, including Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Harry Douglas. This is a definite possibility. There is also a strong possibility that young TE Levine Toilolo will pick up some extra slack. The young Stanford product had a year to learn from and work with Gonzales, and that could really benefit him. Toilolo has very soft hands and is a huge target at 6’8” and 265, making him an instant mismatch and redzone threat. Last season he had minimal work as a backup with 11 REC on 14 targets for 55 YDS and two TDs.
His sheer size makes him an imposing force when he’s on the field, and he shows impressive speed for a man of his size, running a 4.75 forty yard dash at the 2013 combine. With a lackluster running game in Atlanta, Toilolo is a player who could have a lot of redzone looks. He has the potential to fill the TE void that was left by Tony Gonzales, but his contribution could still be a bit stifled by an impressive group of wide receivers.
