EXPERT ANALYSIS: Logan Forsythe is now fully healthy again and has returned to the Tampa Bay Rays starting lineup as a result. Not only is he playing everyday, but he's always slotted at or near the top of the Rays batting order, which is optimal for his counting numbers. Over the past two weeks, Forsythe has played quite well as he's slashed an impressive .315/.351/.463 that includes 17 hits to go with nine runs, one HR and four RBI. While Forsythe is solid against RHP, he is great against LHP as he's mashed southpaws to the tune of a .408/.451/.755 slash line this season. This makes Forsythe a terrific match-up play against LHP and a very strong bench player in every size fantasy league (not to mention DFS leagues). In 12-team leagues and larger, he is a solid MI or 2B option and should continue to be for the rest of the season. If you need help in the middle infield and Forsythe is available you should probably pick him up post haste.
