Analysis: Since his recent return from the disabled list, Logan Forsythe has looked a bit more like his old self again. The Los Angeles Dodgers had to go without their second basemen from April 19th to May 23rd as Forsythe was sidelined with a right toe fracture. In 1,051 AB between 2015 and 2016 for the Rays, Forsythe totaled 37 HR and 15 SB. He has been a proven and reliable commodity for infield power and sneaky base-running.
Although 2017 hasn't exactly gone his way, things are starting to look up. Forsythe finally blasted his first home run of the season, and in the last week, he has produced an OPS of .784. By the way, while Forsythe gets his groove back at the plate, remember that he has a career RHP/LHP split of .668/.834 so be careful of who you play him against until the coast appears fully clear.
