Jonathan Lucroy has been cleared to play after being sidelined since September 8 with a concussion.
The Milwaukee Brewers catcher has passed all the tests to prove that the concussion symptoms are all gone. Despite being cleared, the Brewers have ruled out playing the former All-Star at catcher for the rest of the season. Instead, he will play at first base.

"Being realistic about it, and balancing the pros and cons, I don't think it's worth going back out there and catching again right now," Lucroy told The Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel. "If I got hit again, I would go into the offseasons suffering those symptoms all over.
Lucroy, 29, has had his share of injuries this season. He said he feels healthy and ready to get back out there.
In 94 games this season, the righty owns a .259 BA with 7 HR and 41 RBI. His batting average took a big dip after a .301 BA last year. The injuries could have played a part in that but if he’s healthy next season, Lucroy will make for a solid fantasy catcher.
