BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leauges
ANALYSIS: Luis Valbuena is the definition of sleeper. He is producing at a high enough level to be owned in many more leagues than he's currently rostered in. Why is that? Because he plays with the Cubs, who have a new high profile, highly touted prospect join the team every week it seems. Valbuena is a matchup play only - he's slugging .450 vs. RHP but only .380 vs. LHP. With no speed, that mean he is really only a guy you can start vs. RHP. He is putting the ball in the air at a high rate and giving it a very nice charge, and in the summertime in Wrigley, that's a dangerous combination. He only has 9 HR in 267 ABs vs. RHP, but 3 of those have come in the past 7 games, and we think Valbuena might have a little power binge in him in the coming weeks. His duel eligibility doesn't hurt either, so if you're struggling at MI or CI, give him a look in deeper leagues.
