BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Luke Kornet has made his living as a three-point shooting seven-footer for NBA teams with depleted or economical rosters so far in his career, and with the recent significant injuries to Wendell Carter and Daniel Gafford, Kornet will again be having his number called with greater regularity. In response to the window of opportunity, Kornet has capitalized encouragingly with wide improvements in efficiency.
After seeing the floor for only 4.1 minutes per contest in December, Kornet has been averaging 20.7 minutes per game to kick off January, putting up 7.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks on a nightly basis. While his success rate from long-distance of 32.3% is far from his standard, it is still a vast improvement from the first two months of the season where he went 5 for 24 from three, and he has amassed season-best figures for true shooting percentage (55.2%) and combined offensive and defensive rating (220). While his usage rate of 16.1% is modest and not even his best of the year, that rate becomes far more potent when applied to 20.7 minutes per game as opposed his 13.4 back in October. With Kornet picking up the pace beyond the arc and blocking shots at a decent clip, he can net significant rewards as a fixture on the floor in the coming weeks.
