BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: Although his offense has cooled off a bit and he hit for a lowly .217 BA last week, Marcell Ozuna is still batting over .300 for the season and remains on pace to score more than 80 runs and drive in over 70 runs. At just 23 years of age Ozuna is the latest Marlin in their everyday lineup to have been promoted from within their minor league system. With three consecutive minor league seasons with 20 or more homeruns on his resume, as well as his ability to steal a few bases, Ozuna has the potential to be in that lineup for a long time. Although he lacks discipline at the plate, hitting in front of Giancarlo Stanton should ensure that Ozuna will see some good pitches to hit. You may have to put up with some of Ozuna’s streakiness, but with recent injuries to widely owned outfielders like Mark Trumbo and Bryce Harper, a player with Ozuna’s talent will definitely be a hot commodity off of your league’s waiver wire.
