BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Marco Estrada was an interesting draft pick going into the season, but he failed to impress before getting injured in late May. The Brewers' rotation has been scuffling with injuries recently, but the right-hander finally appears healthy again. In two starts since coming off the D.L., all Estrada has done is pitch like an ace. His 1.23 WHIP on the season is adequate at the very least, but it's the strikeout potential that makes Estrada so appealing. In the 11 IP, he has 8 K to-- big-time numbers if he can keep the ratios down going forward. Also, his control has been outstanding: over his last five combined starts, he's allowed just 1 BB in 29 IP. Estrada can be a very productive starter going forward-- that is, as long as he can keep the ball in the park. His HR/9 rate has historically been his biggest statistical flaw, and this year is no different (1.7 HR per 9 IP).
