BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ team leagues
OWNED IN: 40% of Fleaflicker leagues
ANALYSIS: The Oakland offense is no juggernaut, but Marcus Semien has been hot lately. Semien has eight homers on the season and 15 RBI, despite a .210 average. Over the last two weeks, Semien has hit four homers, driven in eight RBI, and scored seven runs. Even the average in that span hasn't been terrible as he produced a .244 clip. Unfortunately, that might be the best you could hope for in terms of an end of season average. If you have players who can cancel out the low average, he can give you strong power numbers at a shallow position.
His lack of eligibility at other positions hurts his value a bit, but his ability to run can make up for it. It's not Dee Gordon steal potential, but 10-12 steals are possible. If he keeps up this pace, that would give Semien 20+ homers and 10+ steals. That's definitely worth owning.
