BALLER MOVE: Add Immediately
ANALYSIS: In case you missed it, Pittsburgh's closer Jason Grilli left last night's game with a forearm injury. It didn't look good during the game, as he was in notiocable pain, and he didn't look happy at all after the game. Today he was placed in the DL, and it's being called a "forearm strain". Savvy owners know this is just a generic label, and Grilli could have a serious injury. It's a shame as Grilli was elite this year, and if I had to guess he'll end up having season-ending surgery (or at least a very prolonged DL stint). Melancon has been fantastic this year, rocking a 0.97 ERA / 0.82 WHIP with 47 K in 46 1/3 IP. He will step in as the new closer for the Pirates, and will hold a lot of fantasy value. He's an immediate add in any league that counts saves. If he's still available in your league, go pick him up now.
