Mark Reynolds (1B / 3B, MIL) - Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues (if you're power starved)

ANALYSIS: Mark Reynolds is one of the easiest pro ballplayers to predict the statistics for going into a season. If he is alotted 450-500 at-bats he has a chance to strikeout the most times in one season (a record he currently owns with 223). On the flip side he can hit you 25-35 homeruns over said at-bats. You take the good with the bad.  As expected, this season Mark Reynolds has 12 HR (on pace for 36) and 57 Ks which attributes to that ugly .217 average. So when you see him sitting on the waiver wire you need to weigh the value to your team. If you need HR and can take a hit in the AVG category, he is your man, if not don't waste your time.  Keep an eye on the playing time situation as well, because the return of Aramis Ramirez might cut into Reynold's playing time a little bit.
