Marshawn Lynch Will Be a Game-Time Decision

Everybody hates a player that's a game-time decision, especially when they player was a first-round fantasy football draft pick like Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch. Despite Lynch "working hard rehabbing and trying to get back," we are not expected to know his status until an hour or two before kickoff on Sunday.

Although Lynch has had games where he rarely saw the field due to injury, he hasn't actually missed an entire game since 2011. That's a little reassuring, but be sure to check his status before the Seahawks are ready for kickoff against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

If Lynch can't go, Thomas Rawls is definitely startable in all fantasy leagues. Fred Jackson would also likely see some playing time, but Rawls would likely see most of the carries out of the backfield with Jackson subbing in for passing situations.

Obviously if Lynch can go, he should be started in all leagues. But if you don't have Rawls on your roster, you will be taking quite a risk waiting until Monday night to find out his status. If you have a decent backup, it may be worth avoiding the risk and letting Lynch ride the fantasy bench for a week.
