ANALYSIS: Marvin Jones was in line for a big game on Sunday with Golden Tate expected to sit with an AC Joint sprain. Jones delivered, hauling in six catches for a season high 128 yards - his third consecutive game with six catches. The results shouldn't surprise anyone, except that Tate was cleared before the game and played. That makes Jones' performance all the more impressive, as it came as the No. 2 option. Jones has been trending upward for the last few weeks, having hauled in six catches for 54, 96 and 128 yards over his last three weeks, with a touchdown.
In PPR leagues, Jones is a must-add. His receptions have been steadily climbing and as long as the Lions continue their air-raid Jones should get plenty of targets. Jones also serves as the primary long distance threat with Kenny Golladay sidelined with a hamstring injury, and any receiver getting thrown at by Matthew Stafford has a chance to put up big plays. Start Jones with confidence in PPR leagues, and he is worth a look in standard formats as well.
