BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 47% of leagues
ANALYSIS: As ridiculous (but gratifying) as it is, nobody seems to be discussing anything related to the infamous COVID-19 virus these days when it comes to it in relation to the Association. About damn time, man. That doesn't mean COVID has kept from hitting individual targets here and there, such as Sixers' bonafide superstars Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris... and fantastic off-the-pine forward Matisse Thybulle.
Yes, Philly's squad went down infected (or at least testing positive somehow) as a whole missing a bunch of games during the past week. Tobi just came back on Friday while both JoJo and Thybs remained out. But he should be inching closer to their comeback games which should be taking place early next week. Before getting out of the team, Thybulle had been great and getting even better. While Thybulle only topped 23 minutes once in the first five games of the year, he then proceeded to log 23+ in all of the last four he played before hitting the shelves, even getting to start on back-to-back nights on Nov. 3 and 4.
Thybulle was able to average a nice 6-2-1-3-2 line in that span, which is low but reasonable for the role Matisse play in Philly: defensive specialist with high numbers on both the steals and blocks cats to go with safe-shooting and a marvelous FG% on super low volume. Thybulle is keeping up nearly a 50% field-goal clip from the floor, although he's doing so on just 4.5 FGA a day. But you don't roster Thybulle to feast on points; you do so to get you some bulky thefts (3+ steals in four of his past five matches) and blocks (3, 1, 2, and 3 in his past four outings).

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
