ANALYSIS: Matt Duffy has been a solid points producer this year on a Tampa Bay Rays team that has a limited number of fantasy relevant players. He's having one of his best years so far at 27 years old. He's hitting .317 and has an average .344 wOBA. While he only has four home runs this year, he has 16 doubles and 78 singles. Duffy doesn't have great speed, but he has seven stolen bases so far.
Duffy was hot in June when he scored 14 runs and hit .340. He's looking to continue that going into the second half of the season. It's nice to have someone with middle infield and corner infield eligibility for the versatility. Duffy bats near the top of the order, so he should have plenty of value going forward. He gets so many base hits that he can be plugged into a lineup every night and almost guarantee some scoring.
