ANALYSIS: Take a look at Hardman's week-to-week targets from the 2019 season, then look at his weekly fantasy outcomes, and you'll get an idea of the player Mecole Hardman is: the biggest of boom/bust wide receivers. Well, perhaps not the biggest, but he's definitely up there. His role has become more stable this season with at least 3 targets in the past three games, but he's still used as a deep-threat receiver with an aDOT of 9.7 yards and currently averaging 8.2 YAC.
The Chiefs offense is always going to hit, but nobody knows who will be the player to get the fantasy goodies. Good for us fantasy GMs, WR Sammy Watkins got injured last weekend and that means he'll be out of the equation for a while. Hardman will now become the WR3 of the offense (Demarcus Robinson was above him in snaps played so far, but his production is middling at best) and most probably get targeted more often.
Hardman had his worst game of the season in Week 1 but since then he's reached at least 7 PPR points in all of the last four, including an 18.1 PPR-point performance in W3 (4-81-1) and a 12.7 one the following week (4-27-1). Mahomes is hitting receivers deep thanks to the great OL protection, so there will be big-plays available for Hardman on a greater volume going forward with Sammy out.
Mecole has caught 13 of 17 targets for 194 yards through five games, and that yardage ranks third among WRs with no more than 17 targets on the season. He's also one of 11 receivers with 2+ touchdowns in such a low volume of targets. With Watkins out for at least a couple of weeks, and Hardam locked into an all-snaps role, he should be added in almost all leagues given his WR2 upside and weekly-FLEX playability at least.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED: 1% of Leagues ANALYSIS: As a 2017 fifth-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Boise State, it was a very slow start to the professional career of running back Jeremy McNichols, taking just two carries for four yards with no targets in the passing game...
