By improving his walk percentage to 12.8%, Upton currently has his highest OBP since all the way back in 2008 with Tampa Bay. In just 90 AB Upton has already stolen six bases in nine attempts which puts him tied for eighth place in the MLB. Upton has even improved his BA and SLG to .244 and .367, which is pretty significant considering he plays his home games in Petco Park. Upton is walking a lot, stealing a lot of bases, and isn't making his owners cringe at the sight of his BA and OPS.
