BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 63% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: Meyers Leonard has been on everyone's fantasy radar since the playoffs last season. Unfortunately his performance there hasn't translated to big results early this season. A recent shoulder injury that Leonard sustained probably had fantasy owners, not to mention Blazer fans, even more annoyed as well.
Luckily for Leonard, Noah Vonleh has struggled and was removed from Tuesday's game in favor of Leonard who went off. Leonard scored 23 points with seven rebounds and he hit four three-point shots. Coach Terry Stotts hasn't made any official change or announcement yet, but it appears as though Leonard is poised to reclaim a position in the starting five. Vonleh only played six minutes on Tuesday so clearly the coaching staff felt that Leonard would be able to get the job done better.
As long as he's getting a full complement of minutes, Leonard deserves to be owned in all leagues. His range for a power-forward with center eligibility gives him a lot of value, as do his solid scoring and rebounding numbers. The only downside here is his lack of defensive stats, but at 7'1" you would have to think he could accumulate some blocks now that he's getting more minutes.
