BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 28% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Washington Nationals outfielder Michael A. Taylor does not start every game, but does have a hit in 13 straight games where he has started. He has three multi-hit games in that time span, hitting five doubles and stealing six bases since May 27.
Taylor still only has a .226 batting average this season, but he has a .354 batting average since his hot streak started on the 27th. He also has seven extra-base hits in that time span, scoring four runs and driving in six near the bottom of the Nationals order. Taylor also has a 23.1% line drive rate in that time span, better than his 18.8% line drive rate for the season.
Playing time is the issue with Taylor, as the Nationals have Juan Soto, Bryce Harper, and Adam Eaton as the main starters in the outfield. That being said, Taylor will still be used as a pinch runner in games that he does not play and will also be used as a spot starter when the starters need a day off. Even though Taylor does not play every day, he is a good option in deeper leagues.
