BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 23% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Though Michael Fulmer never lived up to the promise he showed early in his career as a starter, a move to the bullpen has made him an appealing option for fantasy managers. The 28-year-old has solid ratios overall (3.34 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 8.5 K/9) but they're inflated by a couple of mediocre spot starts. As a reliever, he's tossed 17 innings with a 2.12 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and 11.1 K/9.
Those results, along with Gregory Soto's struggles, have put Fulmer in position to accumulate saves. He's converted the last two Detroit opportunities along with two victories and a hold in his last five appearances. Even with a sharp recent uptick in his rostered rate, he's still free to add in over three-quarters of Yahoo leagues. That won't last, so go grab him now.
