BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 33% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Miguel Andujar burst onto the scene in 2018 with a terrific season as a 23-year-old, slashing .297/.328/.537 with 27 home runs, 83 runs, and 92 RBI. In most years that would've been enough to capture Rookie of the Year honors, but most years don't also feature the debut of the best two-way talent the sport has seen in a century, so he settled for second behind runaway winner Shohei Ohtani. Then the wheels fell off between injury and ineffectiveness, and it looked like Andujar would need to go to another team to rejuvenate his career.
Instead, he's taken advantage of injuries and ineffectiveness befalling other Yankees players. Andujar has gone hitless just once in the past 11 games, and during that stretch he's hit five homers and tallied 16 R+BI. After barreling just two balls in 2019-20, he's already got seven barrels this year. With New York desperate for production at the plate, he should continue to see regular playing time. One of the most popular adds on Yahoo this week, he nonetheless remains free to add in two-thirds of leagues on the platform.
