BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Mike Brosseau has emerged from the Rays roster as a 'leftie-masher', someone who crushes left-handed pitching but isn't a regular in the lineup. That is a bit harsh on the utility man and he's someone who does deserve greater consideration. While it is true that Brosseau does most of his damage against southpaws as he's hit .326 against them in his Major League career and .400 this year, he's also gone 3 for 11 against righties this season and has a career .247 average against them. Brosseau is predominantly being used against lefties however as he's featured in 19 games but only has 41 plate appearances.
Brosseau has spent time in both corner outfield spots and all infield positions except shortstop this year so the Rays are keen to get him into the lineup, even if it is just to pinch-hit against leftie relievers. He has three homers, seven runs and seven RBI this season to go along with a .361/.415/.722 slash line so even if his numbers are a bit inflated due to his splits against lefties, it's still well worth noting. The fact Brosseau can be utilized in the outfield or two infield spots for your teams does add value but until he sees more regular playing time and becomes more than a platoon bat, he won't be rostered in many leagues. In leagues with 14+ teams and when you have daily roster moves, Brosseau is someone you can start against left-handed pitchers and be confident he'll do some damage and contribute to your fantasy numbers.
