Jacob deGrom (SP, NYM) at Padres

Jaime Garcia (SP, STL) vs Phillies

Garcia has been so-so since his one-hit shutout on April 14th, but the Phillies may be just what the doctor ordered. The fighting Phils have a .666 OPS versus lefties, sixth worst in baseball.

Kevin Gausman (SP, BAL) vs Yankees

FanDuel - $6,500 / DraftKings - $6,900

The Gasman has 10 strikeouts in 11 innings and has been very effective so far. The Yankees are hitting .244 versus right-handers. Gausman has a 2.79 ERA in five starts against the Yankees, making him a solid play at his price tag.

Wade Miley (SP, SEA) at Astros

FanDuel - $6,400 / DraftKings - $8,200

Going against the Astros sounds like suicide, especially after their 14-run outburst last night. But Miley has a 2-0 record and 2.63 ERA in four starts against Houston, and the Astros have a MLB-worst 25.6% strikeout percentage versus left-handed pitchers. This is a sneaky play.

Starting Pitchers to Fade in Daily Fantasy Baseball

Trevor Bauer (SP, CLE) vs Tigers

FanDuel - $7,800 / DraftKings - $7,100

The Tigers crush righties (.293 AVG - 1st in MLB) and strikeout a MLB-low 16.1% of the time versus them. People will drift towards his strikeout potential, but you'd be wise to steer clear.

Jerad Eickhoff (SP, PHI) at Cardinals

FanDuel - $7,000 / DraftKings - $7,600

Eickhoff has 32 strikeouts in 30 innings, but the Cardinals hit righties well and I don't like his win potential versus Garcia here.
