MLB Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel Baseball Advice for 4/29/16

There are a ton of games on tonight's slate and a lot of interesting matchups.

Corey Kluber gets the Philadelphia Phillies, but he is away from Cleveland. Is he worth the price tag?

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/29/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks are one of the better offenses in the league, and they get a great matchup against the Colorado Rockies tonight. Paul Goldschmidt and company are at home, and they are likely to score five plus runs. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Cleveland Indians

The Cleveland Indians get a great matchup tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies and Adam Morgan. Morgan really is not anything special at the pitcher position, and Cleveland should be able to score. Use them mainly in 50/50 contests.

New York Yankees

The New York Yankees are a great tournament stack tonight against the Boston Red Sox. The Sox are throwing Henry Owens, and the Yankees are starting to heat up. They have a ton of power scattered throughout their lineup as well.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Corey Kluber

Corey Kluber is easily the best starting pitcher option on the board tonight, as he faces off against the Philadelphia Phillies, who have the second least amount of runs scored this season. Kluber can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments, as the other 'elite' pitching options get tough matchups.

Michael Fulmer

Michael Fulmer is set to take his MLB debut tonight against the Minnesota Twins. While Fulmer does not do great with limiting runs, he does strike a lot of batters out. He has over nine strikeouts per nine innings pitched in the Triple-A, and the Twins love to whiff. Use him in tournaments tonight.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - Wellington Castillo

Wellington Castillo makes for a great play tonight at the catcher position. He is off to a great start this season, as he is hitting close to .300 with a few home runs. He has a ton of power, so he has the upside to use him in tournaments and the consistency to use him in 50/50 contests.

First Base (1B) - Lucas Duda

Lucas Duda gets a great matchup tonight against Jake Peavy and the San Francisco Giants. Peavy has been horrible this season, and he tends to not pitch well away from home. Duda has great upside due to his immense amount of power. The Mets should score early and often, giving Duda plenty of RBI opportunities.

Second Base (2B) - Chase Utley

Chase Utley has cooled down a little bit of recent, but a few games ago, he was red hot. Baseball is an up and down game, so using a player when they are down is sometimes a great idea in tournaments. In his last six games, he has over 10 fantasy points in three of them. The Dodgers get the young Cesar Vargas tonight and should score runs.

Shortstop (SS) - Aledmys Diaz

Aledmys Diaz is absolutely on fire right now. In his last game, he posted over 30 fantasy points against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Use him in all formats without hesitation.

Third Base (3B) - Brandon Drury

Brandon Drury is too cheap right now. He has been playing consistently for the Arizona Diamondbacks, and he has over 10 fantasy points in three of his last four games. At only $2,500, he is a steal tonight, especially against Tyler Chatwood and the Colorado Rockies.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Giancarlo Stanton

Giancarlo Stanton is really starting to heat up. In his last four games, he has 12.5, 25.7, 31.2, and 27.7 fantasy points. He gets a great matchup tonight against the Milwaukee Brewers and Zach Davies. He has huge potential due to his ability to hit home runs during any given at-bat. Use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments right now.

J.D. Martinez

J.D. Martinez is currently hitting second for the Detroit Tigers, as Justin Upton is dealing with some issues at the plate. He is too cheap on FanDuel right now, and in his last two games, he has 12.2 and 41.4 fantasy points. Hopefully, this will spark a fire in Martinez because he has serious fantasy potential.

Khris Davis

The Oakland Athletics have been toying with the idea of Khris Davis at the four spot in the batting order. In his last five games, he has 6.5, 30.9, 9.5, 3, and 21.7 fantasy points. It is pretty obvious from those numbers that Davis has huge upside, but should only really be trusted in tournaments. It is unlikely that Mike Fiers shuts down the Houston Astros' offense.
