MLB DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers - DraftKings Advice for 4/14/16

Choosing pitchers will be tough on this slate. The good ones are pinned up against one another, and the bad ones are, well, bad.

Still, that makes DFS all the more fun, right? We have a Coors game and plenty of different slates with games going on all day. Let's win some money!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/14/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings.

Editor's Note: *Stephen Strasburg is expected to start for Washington. He becomes the best/safest pitcher on the early slate.*

*Jorge De La Rosa (LHP) is expected to start for Colorado. This gives a bump to San Francisco right-handed hitters like Hunter Pence and Matt Duffy.*

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

San Francisco Giants vs. Christian Bergman (RHP)

The Giants are deadly to begin with. Throw in Coors Field and you have a potential massacre. Lefties like Denard Span, Joe Panik, and Brandon Belt are safe bets for production. Hunter Pence has been on a tear lately, so he's tough to ignore as well. Good luck finding enough salary cap for all of them, though.

Kansas City Royals vs. Doug Fister (RHP)

The Royals have all of the pieces to demolish Doug Fister and his waning pitching abilities. Mike Moustakas and Eric Hosmer are two lefties who should have success with the short porch in right calling their name. Lorenzo Cain has been on a hot streak that's tough to ignore. Alcides Escobar is always a nice pay down option while still getting a leadoff bat. This stack will be less expensive than the Giants fellas, but it could do just as much damage.

Also Consider: Colorado Rockies vs. Matt Cain (RHP)

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Vincent Velasquez, PHI vs. SD - $7,300

Velasquez has shown us how filthy his stuff can be at the end of last year, through the spring, and in his first start when he silenced the Mets. The Padres are brutal right now. They were shut out four times in their first eight games, and look what Jerad Eickhoff just did to them last night. I'm willing to call Velasquez a safe cash game play (my favorite play at that) with upside.

Cole Hamels,  TEX vs. BAL - $10,600

The Orioles are red hot, which makes me really nervous for this pick. Still, Hamels is a very smart pitcher, and Baltimore can't hit like this forever. I expect the Rangers to get to Tillman, helping Hamels' win chances, and the O's are a better team against RHP. I don't love the comfort level with Hamels, but I definitely see the upside.

Also Consider: Chris Archer, TB vs. CLE

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Nick Hundley, COL vs. SF - $4,000

Here's your Coors Field exposure. Hundley won't homer often, but the potential is always there when he plays at home. The Rockies might explode on Matt Cain, who is a shadow of the pitcher he once was. Catcher is pretty barren, but this pick could set you apart.

First Base (1B)

Brandon Belt, SF at COL - $5,000

I like Hosmer too, but Belt is only $200 more, and hey... Coors Field. The Giants might put up 10 runs Thursday, and Belt would be a big part of that. He is bound to put a few fly balls in the air, and odds are one carries out.

Second Base (2B)

Cesar Hernandez, PHI vs. SD - $3,300

Hernandez is leading off for a Phillies team that has some potential on offense. They rarely all click at once, but a .399 wOBA vs. LHP in 2015 is promising enough. He started off the season with a few multi-hit games, so let's hope he gets back on track against Drew Pomeranz

Shortstop (SS)

Carlos Correa, HOU vs. KC - $4,700

Correa is a contact hitter who has power to all fields, and Ian Kennedy is due for some regression. This should be a high-scoring contest, and I'm expecting Correa to end up with a few hits by the time the dust settles.

Third Base (3B)

Mike Moustakas, KC at HOU - $4,400

The Moose has home run power and there's a short porch in Houston's right field. The Royals should take it to Doug Fister, and Moustakas would be right in the middle of the production.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Nomar Mazara, TEX vs. BAL - $3,300

This is just way too cheap for this hot of a hitter. Mazara is doing it all from the two-spot in the Rangers lineup right now. Don't expect that to stop Thursday against RHP Chris Tillman.

Enrique Hernandez, LOS vs. ARI - $3,000

Hernandez had a .507 wOBA vs. LHP last season. That is all. Robbie Ray is a good pitcher, but trust the numbers. This price is too low for a leadoff hitter with those type of numbers.
