With only a few weeks left in the season, every day is sure to garner a few prime match-ups with playoff implications. Saturday is certainly one of them. Two of baseball’s best teams are set to meet in Chicago when the Cubs take on the Cardinals. All the while the Mets will host the Yankees in the second game of the Subway Series while the Dodgers and Pirates meet in a battle of the NL’s best out on the west coast. Couple all of that with a match-up pitting the Blue Jays against the Red Sox and baseball fans are likely in for an excellent day.
For those of you with DFS in mind, here are a handful of pitchers, infielders, and outfielders to target for DraftKings today.

Offenses to Target for DraftKings Stacking:
Colorado Rockies (vs SD)
The Rockies will be at home today, and that makes all the difference. Colorado is hitting a whopping 74 points betters at Coors Field than elsewhere, and nearly two-thirds of the team’s 600+ RBI have come while at home as well. Based purely on that, stacking the heart of the Rockies lineup may be an appealing option in DFS today.
New York Mets (vs NYY)
A resurgent Mets offense lead by Yoenis Cespedes has enough potential on its own to be a great stacking option, but playing at home and playing the Yankees helps even more. Michael Pineda has been far from dominant over the last month or so, getting roughed up for four or more ER in five of his last six starts. With relatively cheap options at the heart of the lineup, take a long look at the Mets today.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for DraftKings
Patrick Corbin (SP, ARI) - $9,700
Corbin hasn’t given up a single HR in 102 cumulative AB against Giants batters, and despite only holding the team to a rather pedestrian .275 average, the young Diamondback has struck out 25 while only given up five RBI in his career against the Giants as well. He won’t be at home but could make for a great value at a relatively cheap price.
Sonny Gray (SP, OAK) - $10,600
If you’re looking to target an ace pitcher today, the numbers point to Gray. Having struck out a sixth of the Astros batters he’s faced across his career, Gray could be in for solid production in the K’s column which could lead to yet another brilliant start for the young ace.
DFS Infielders to Consider for DraftKings
Yadier Molina (C, STL) - $2,900
Molina must wake up with a smile on his face when he gets to face Travis Wood. The Cardinals catcher has a career .366 average against the Cubs pitcher, with a few HR and a whopping 13 RBI across only 41 AB. An average hitter this season, Molina’s match-up makes him much more than that today.
Chris Davis (1B, BAL) - $4,600
There likely isn’t a player in baseball with more power potential, and that means good things for DFS. Davis can’t be trusted for hits, but if he can connect on one or more pitches he could be in for a big day. Given he’s already taken Erasmo Ramirez deep twice in only 14 career AB, Saturday could be another one of those big days.
Corey Seager (SS, LAD) - $3,200
Expectations were high for Seager, and he has more than met them. The young SS has notched a pair of HR and knocked in 10 RBI since making it to the majors. That hot hitting coupled with the fact that teams haven’t had too long to figure him out makes him excellent sleeper pick at home against the Pirates.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for DraftKings
Jon Jay (OF, STL) - $2,300
Like his teammate Molina, Jay also wakes up with a smile on his face when facing Wood. The Cardinals OF has a .382 AVG with seven RBI lifetime against Wood, numbers that make him a likely productive source of runs and hits today.
Matt Kemp (OF, SD) - $5,100
Kemp’s average season has slumped a bit during the final stretch as the outfielder has seen his HR and RBI totals dip, but a Saturday game at Coors Field should help with that. Kemp still has the tools to explode on any given day, and the thin air of Colorado could help make that happen. The risk/reward is pretty good here.
Jayson Werth (OF, WSH) - $4,200
With a pair of multi-HR games over the last week and a half, it’s safe to say Werth has found his power stroke. That could mean big things for him heading into a Saturday match-up at home against the Marlins. Werth has hit north of .300 thus far in September, and could be an excellent value.
