Hello everybody and welcome! We have finally reached Opening Day for the 2022 MLB season and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.
PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle-room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Single Stat Strikeout Totals
Corbin Burnes over 7.5 strikeouts - Burnes finished the 2021 campaign with a total of 234 strikeouts across just 167 innings pitched. He also faced the Cubs total of three times in 2021 and managed to strike out 36 batters across 20 innings pitched. The matchup could not be much better in this one as the Cubs also led baseball with a K rate of 27.1% against right-handers in 2021.
Christian Yelich under 7.5 fantasy score - Yelich had a rough 2021 in which he managed to post an oPS of just .736. It was statistically his worst season and he has not exactly lit the world on fire this spring as he is posting just a .686 OPS. While it is more than feasible for Yelich to have success in this game, he has not statistically done well against Kyle Hendricks as he is just 9-for-38 with three extra-base hits.
Alex Bregman under 7.5 fantasy score - Bregman is another player that have an off 2021 and has not exactly been ripping the cover off the ball inspiring as he is posting just a .655 OPS through his first 24 at bats. He will also draw a very tough matchup against Shohei Ohtani who allowed just a .178 BAA with just three home runs allowed to right-handed hitters in 2021.
Carlos Santana over 4.5 fantasy score - Santana is a walking machine and could approach this total with just two walks in this game. He will be facing his old team in the Guardians, so emotions will likely be high for him in this one. He will be hitting in the middle of a Royals lineup that should be greatly improved in 2021 and will also be facing Shane Bieber who missed significant time in 2021 and may not be up to speed to begin 2022 just yet.
