MLB DFS Prop Picks for 6/18 - PrizePicks

Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 MLB season is alive and well and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props as well as hitter props in which you determine if the pitcher or hitter in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. For today's article, we are going to look at one pitcher's strikeout prop as well as some hitters that might be in great spots. Let's see what the board offers today!

Single Stat MLBP and MLB Totals

Mike Foltynewicz under 4.5 strikeouts - Folty has failed to reach this total in each of his last six starts. In those six starts, he has allowed 22 earned runs across 29 innings pitched. While the Twins are posting a K rate of 24% over the previous 10 days, this should be low enough for them to get to Folty based on his recent struggles.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. over 1.5 Runs+ RBI - Guerrero Jr. has been a machine this season and has been on fire recently as he is posting a .444 average with four bombs and eight RBI over the previous seven days. He will be facing Bruce Zimmerman who has allowed 10 home runs to right-handers on the season and is allowing a .280 BAA. Once Zimmerman leaves the game, Vladdy will be facing the Orioles Bullpen, which has allowed 21 home runs over the previous two weeks and is posting a 6.68 ERA over that same span.

Starling Marte over .5 Runs+RBI - Marte has gone over this total in nine of his previous 10 games. He will be facing right-hander, Zach Davies, who has allowed a .289 BAA to right-handed hitters on the season. Over the previous two weeks, Marte is hitting .357 with a combined 16 runs and RBI. He is also slashing .329/.428/.982 vs. right-handed pitching on the season.

Ryan Mountcastle over .5 Runs+RBI - Ryan Mountcastle checks a ton of boxes for me tonight, First, he is facing Robbie Ray who has allowed 14 home runs to right-handed hitters on the season. Second, Mountcastle has a .872 OPS with three bombs off lefties in 2021. Third, Mountcastle hits well at home as he has a .319 average and .896 OPS at home. Finally, Mountcastle is currently swinging a hot stick as he has a .318 average with three bombs over the previous two weeks.
