Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 MLB season is alive and well and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props as well as hitter props in which you determine if the pitcher or hitter in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. For today's article, we are going to look at hitter props as well as pitcher strikeout props.

Single Stat MLB and MLBP Totals
Willy Adames over .5 Runs+RBI- Adames has been hot since joining the Brewers and is posting a .319/.396/.638 slash line with three home runs, seven runs scored, and 10 RBI over the previous two weeks. He will be facing off against Jake Arrieta who is allowing a .267 BAA to right-handed hitters this season and has also allowed seven home runs and 23 RBI to them. He also has a 6.17 road ERA, so Adames could very well continue his hot streak in this one.
Teoscar Hernandez over 1.5 Hits+Walks - Hernandez will be facing Mariners' left-hander, Justus Sheffield, who is allowing a .308 BAA to right-handed hitters and a 5.79 ERA against them while also having allowed 11 home runs. Hernandez has been raking as well as he is slashing .346/.370/.577 with a home run, three doubles, and five RBI over the previous seven days. He is also slashing .367/.396/.796 off left-handed pitchers this season and is slashing .324/.373/.491 in home games. He should be in line for a solid day and be able to get on base twice in this one.
Kwang Hyun Kim under 3.5 strikeouts - Kim has an incredibly tough matchup in this one as the Diamondbacks are posting the second-best K rate against left-handers over the previous 10 days with a rate of just 16.3%. They are also posting a solid 132 wRC+, which has them ranked fifth-best in baseball over that span. Kim has also failed to reach this total in four of his previous five starts.
Kolby Allard under 4.5 strikeouts -Allard has to face the Athletics for a second-consecutive start and he only managed to strike out one of them in his previous start, so the 4.5 number is a little curious. Oakland has been very good against left-handers over the previous 10 days as well as they are only striking out at a rate of 17.3%, which is ranked fourth-best in the league. This is also no small sample size, either, as it is across 150 plate appearances. They are also walking at a rate of 10.7%, which could get Allard in trouble. Allard has also failed to reach this total in three of his most recent five starts, one of which was against the Athletics as aforementioned.
