Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 MLB season is alive and well and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props as well as hitter props in which you determine if the pitcher or hitter in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Tonight, we will look at some fantasy score hitter props.

Fantasy Score MLB Totals
Xander Bogaerts over 8.5 fantasy score - Bogaerts gets a great matchup against Yankees' left-hander Andrew Heaney as Heaney has allowed 20 home runs to right-handed hitters along with a .243 BAA and 6.20 ERA. Bogaerts has been hot lately as he is posting a 1.115 OPS with two home runs and two doubles over his previous 24 at-bats. He is also 7-for-13 with a 1.462 OPS off Andrew Heaney in his career. Note: I could also make a strong case for J.D. Martinez here against Heaney as he has been hot and has two home runs in six at-bats against Heaney in his career, but I do not want to have two Red Sox in a play against that Yankees' pen.
Ozzie Albies over 7.5 fantasy score - Ozzie Albies loves facing left-handed pitchers as he has become a staple in this column when facing a lefty. Tonight, he will be going up against Marlins' left-hander Jesus Luzardo. Luzardo has allowed 12 home runs and a .313 BAA to righties this season, which makes for a great spot to use Albies as he is hitting .331 with a .989 OPS off left-handers in 2021.
Brandon Lowe over 8.0 fantasy score - Lowe has been raking lately as noted by his five bombs and 26 combined runs + RBI over his previous 12 games. He is also posting a solid 1.141 OPS over this same span and the Rays have a team total north of 5.5 tonight, which he should certainly be involved in. Watkins has allowed three doubles, a triple, and a home run across facing just 73 left-handed batters on the season as well.
DJ LeMahieu over 7.0 fantasy score - This number is set a bit low for a leadoff hitter on a team expected to score nearly six runs tonight. LeMahieu has nine hits and a .940 OPS over his previous 25 at-bata and will be going up against Nick Pivetta. In 2021, Pivetta has given up 11 home runs and 16 doubles to right-handed hitters, which could bode well for LeMahieu in this one.
