Indians @ Royals
More or Less Contest
Triston McKenzie more than 5.5 strikeouts and Mike Minor less than 4.5 strikeouts
McKenzie returns from the IL tonight after missing the minimum amount of time and should be set for his normal workload. He will be facing a Royals team that is striking out at a rate of 23% vs. right-handers over the previous 10 days and posting a wRC+ of just 76. McKenzie went over this total easily in his last two starts and had one of his best starts of the season against the Royals in which he went seven innings pitched allowing one hit, one walk, and struck out nine.
In all honesty, this number on Minor will probably creep up to 5.5 today, so you could likely wait a bit to play this as a less than, but you would also risk McKenzie rising to 6.5. That being said, Minor has a tough matchup against the Indians who are posting just an 18.8% K rate vs. left-handers over the previous 10 days, which is ranked ninth-best in baseball. They are also posting a very solid 149 wRC+ against lefties over the previous 10 days, which is ranked third-best in baseball. Minor has also faced the Indians twice this season and has five combined strikeouts across 9 1/3 innings pitched.

Braves @ Rockies
Home Run Blast Contest
Jorge Soler, Austin Riley, and Trevor Story to combine for over .5 home runs
With a small slate tonight, let's have a little fun with a Home Run Blast Contest at Coors Field. The Braves right-handed hitters should be in a good spot tonight against Rockies' right-hander, Chi Chi Gonzalez. Gonzalez has given up 11 home runs to right-handed hitters this season and has allowed a .303 BAA against to them. Both Soler and Riley have been hot over the previous two weeks. Soler is posting a 1.097 OPS with five home runs over his previous 38 at-bats and Riley is posting an .876 OPS with two bombs over his previous 43 at-bats. Riley also crushes right-handed pitching as noted by his .964 OPS and 26 home runs this season.
Trevor Story has two home runs and a 1.076 OPS over his previous 18 at-bats. He has also hit 12 of his 18 home runs off right-handed pitchers, which is exactly what he gets in Touki Toussaint tonight. Touki will be making his first start since August 22nd and could be a bit rusty tonight. If that is the case, he could give up a bomb to Story as he has allowed four home runs to right-handed hitters across 24 1/3 innings pitched to them.
